Red and White game...

Spring in Utah is always unpredictable. The forecast might call for sunshine, but we've learned that we'd better be prepared for rain. Or hail. Or snow. Thankfully I married a boy scout and Jon is always prepared. No matter the weather.

This particular Saturday was the Red and White game at Rice Eccles Stadium. The days of early football games and us being able to bring the girls with us because they don't cost an extra ticket are over. Jon thought it would be fun to ride Front Runner with the girls and check out the game while Mia and I went to a bridal shower for cousin Brooke.
He sent this gem so that I could see just how much fun we were missing out on...
Sophie loved watching the cheerleaders, and yelling, "Go Utes!" over and over again. Lydia loved eating her pretzel.
These ladies and water equals hours and hours of fun.

After they spent some time at City Creek I got a text from Jon: "meet our hobo daughters. We may have just missed the train." 😢
They weren't terribly upset by the thought of missing the train. I'm not sure they had any idea what was happening. Especially since Jon (the boy scout) was plenty prepared. They were bundled up and watching My Little Ponies on Jon's phone to pass the time. I'd have loved to have been there. I'm sure it was a sight to see this dad and his girls listening to Ponies.
